MythsMindthe hall

beneath the house

The Archive

MythsMind is an explorable mind — a gothic, dreamlike house where every room is an artistic interpretation of a psychological experience. Visitors move through it by clicking doorways. The deeper they descend, the heavier the material — and every descent is chosen, never imposed.

Beneath the art sits a real evidence base: a curated library of verified resources across ACT, CBT, DBT, and a wider third-wave and clinical companion set — papers, handouts, worksheets, protocols. The papers underwrite the experience; they never confront the visitor. This page is that evidence base, in the open: how much has been gathered, how it's been checked, what's still being hunted down, and the same tag-relationship data that draws the House's floor plan.

Verification — and the hunt that never really ends

Every resource gets a credibility tier and a verification status before it's treated as trustworthy enough to cite from inside a room. 5,674 of 6,708 resources are currently verified; 1,034 are still in the queue. A local LLM pass also checked each entry for blank pages, junk scrapes, and off-topic noise before anything reached the public catalog.

Always-on hunt — what's already been fixed, what's still open

Sources rot. Bibliography pages get restructured, Cloudflare challenges get scraped as if they were papers, dates go unrecorded. This is the honest ledger of that cleanup — not a one-time pass, an ongoing one.

Fixed so far

  • LLM legitimacy rejects (blank, junk, or off-topic pages)876
  • LLM legitimacy kept after content check5,681
  • Dead links rejected (confirmed 404/410/gone)47
  • Duplicate resource rows merged (same DOI/URL, kept the best copy)1
  • Junk-titled scrapes rejected (nav links, boilerplate, not content)1
  • Retracted papers excluded from the evidence base0
  • ACBS bibliography links repaired → direct DOI/article links473
  • Cloudflare interstitial pages caught & re-flagged5
  • Intentionally link-only (never rehosted, by design)2,593

Still open

  • Links flagged blocked/inconclusive (likely bot-blocked, needs a human glance)839
  • Pending LLM legitimacy review8
  • Resources missing an author1,382

Experimental — retrieval only, nothing AI-generated. This searches by meaning instead of exact title text, using a small model running on a machine that isn't always on. If it's asleep, everything else here still works.

Where this goes

6,708 resources across 21 modalities is the start, not the ceiling. The corpus already spans ACT, CBT, DBT, and companions like CFT, MBCT, ERP, schema, MI, and trauma-focused protocols — next is denser coverage, more client-facing materials, and tighter verification as the hunt above turns up more to fix.

This is an art and education project. It is not therapy, not a product, and not monetized. See the disclaimer for crisis resources.
